Plum Island, Massachusetts

Located in the north-east corner of Massachusetts, Plum Island is an excellent birding hotspot where you can find a great variety of birds, especially in the Spring and Summer.

The best birding is on the southern end of the island in the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. This 4,662-acre wildlife sanctuary offers many habitats that attract a wide variety of different birds.
